This year, the number of candidates has seen a notable increase, with 9,84,753 students appearing for the exam, approximately 62,000 more than last year. Among them, 4,28,803 are male candidates, while 5,55,950 are female candidates, reflecting the growing participation of young aspirants.
Strict Guidelines to Ensure Fair Conduct
To maintain discipline and prevent malpractice, the Madhyamik Education Board has enforced strict guidelines. Candidates are strictly prohibited from carrying mobile phones or any electronic gadgets into the examination centers. Any violation of this rule may lead to severe consequences, ensuring a fair examination process for all.
Traffic Restrictions and Parking Rules
The administration has rolled out extensive traffic regulations to facilitate smooth commuting for candidates. Parking will only be allowed in designated areas marked by blue lines around examination centers, and violations may attract hefty fines.
To ease congestion, heavy goods vehicles are prohibited from entering city limits between 6 AM and 12 noon on exam days. Additionally, essential goods carriers, including those transporting milk, vegetables, fish, and LPG, are restricted from operating between 8 AM and 12 noon. Traffic sergeants and officers have been authorized to implement immediate diversions based on traffic flow around examination centers.
