In a recent interview, Vikrant broke his silence on the “retirement” post on his Instagram handle. On December 2, Vikrant shared a post that sparked speculations among the netizens. He wrote “The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realize it’s time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also, as an Actor.”
Vikrant clarified that he has no intention of leaving the film industry and is just taking a sabbatical from his work. He wants to focus more on his personal life and also work on his health. People have misread his post. When the time feels right, he plans to resume acting.
Meanwhile, Vikrant attended the screening of his film “The Sabarmati Report” held at the Balayogi Auditorium on Monday evening. At the screening, he spoke about his desire to watch the film with PM Narendra Modi and other MPs. However, he avoided questions that bombarded him regarding his Instagram post. The actor said that he is working on two projects and in the upcoming year, people will be seeing him for one last time. Vikrant perfectly quotes, “Last 2 movies and many years of memories.”
